STIMU-LYX® Hi-Mag Fescue Relief with Tasco® is a cattle supplement tub for beef calves and cattle consuming lush, rapidly growing pasture or low-quality, low-magnesium forage.

Tasco® Benefits

Tasco® is a natural prebiotic derived from Ascophyllum nodosum, a species of seaweed. Research has shown that Tasco® supplementation can help support:

  • Improved body condition and digestive health
  • Healthy, glossy hair coats
  • Reduced stress and improved tolerance to temperature extremes
  • Reproductive performance and fiber digestion in brood cows
  • Scrotal development and semen quality in bulls

  • Feed Hi-Mag Fescue Relief w/Tasco® to cattle consuming lush, rapidly growing pasture or anytime low quality, low magnesium forages are fed. Place tub(s) in a dry location near the animal’s source of water, salt, mineral, or loafing area. Consumption will vary depending on animal size, stage of production, quality, source, and availability of roughage and/or grains; number of animals per tub and tub location.

    Species Animals/200 lb Tub Intake/hd/day
    Cattle 25-35 0.5 lb - 1.5 lb

To increase consumption, decrease the number of animals per tub, or place tubs closer to the normal loafing area. To reduce consumption increase the number of animals per tub, or place tubs away from the normal loafing area. If your herd size is below the recommended number of animals per 200 lb tub, your expected consumption could be at the upper end of the estimated intake per head per day.

To feed, remove the plastic cover and score surface several times with a knife to encourage initial consumption.

Caution:Always provide a source of fresh clean water, and free choice minerals.

Warning:Do not feed to sheep or horses.
